Requirements for Credit students
A bachelor’s degree (any field of study) is normally required for any post-graduate degree program. Those lacking a bachelor’s degree may, however, apply and be admitted to the first year of a program with probationary status. If the student successfully completes academic requirements during the probationary period, the student may finish the program regularly.
To be accepted, a student must be proficient in English (both written and oral).
Students in the certificate program, as well as those who wish to audit courses, may enroll in classes without any formal entrance requirements. However, they must be proficient in English.
Application Deadline
For students wishing to audit courses, there is no application deadline. Space permitting, auditors will be admitted on the first day of class provided that payment arrangements have been made with the administrator.
For regular students, the normal application deadlines are:
September 1 for the Fall semester
January 15 for the Winter semester
Students are encouraged to apply as soon as is practical. If you miss a deadline and are interested in taking classes, please contact the administrator about late applications.

Students are responsible to obtain all required textbooks before the first day of class. Many texts are available online via Amazon or Christian Book Distributors. Alternatively, you may place special orders at local retail shops that specialize in Christian books. Some textbooks may be available in the library at the Ottawa location.
From the very beginning, Ryle Seminary’s vision has been to build strong local Gospel churches at home and abroad, one leader at a time. We have graduates who have been ordained and serve in churches across Canada, like Rev. Daniel Avitan, pastor of Messiah West.
Ryle’s mission has been to equip unashamed workers, unashamed of the Gospel, and unashamed of the whole counsel of God. We hope that you will consider applying to study at Ryle Seminary and praying that the Lord will raise up more pastors, church planters, missionaries and lay-leaders in Ottawa, Canada, and all around the world.
